Aesthetics has been intrinsic in the design, in which simple form has been adopted to provide an aesthetically pleasing design.

Salient Features

  • Length: 56 m
  • Superstructure: 4-laned bowstring arch steel bridge
  • Total width of deck (out to out): 22.3 m
  • The arches are inclined 5.4° to the vertical; the rise-to-span ratio of the arch is 0.20
  • HTS Hangers: stainless steel bars of nominal dia. 72 mm (M76), minimum yield stress 460 MPa
